Cryptocurrencies are often viewed as the farthest point on the risk curve, akin to leveraged stock positions. The growth of Decentralised Finance (DeFi) could help change the correlation between cryptos and stocks.
Given yesterday's wild volatility and dramatic reversal, one would think it offered signs of capitulation that would mark a major low. But the data does not (yet?) support this case. No evidence of a big short position among professional traders exists while two-way action by retail was evident.
